What is Health & Wellness Coaching?

Health and wellness coaching is a collaborative, client-centered process that empowers you to make lasting behavioral changes to achieve your health and well-being goals.  

As your health and wellness coach, I will be your accountability partner and guide, combining principles from psychology, behavioral science, and health promotion with coaching techniques such as motivational interviewing and goal-setting to help you reach your optimal wellness.

As a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), I specialize in helping clients invest in their future selves!  Together, we create sustainable lifestyle changes that support physical, emotional, and mental well-being. With a client-centered approach grounded in behavior change science, I strive to empower individuals to clarify their vision of wellness, overcome obstacles, and take meaningful action toward their goals. Whether you're looking to reduce stress, improve nutrition, increase movement, address sleep issues, establish a better work-life balance, or simply to find more joy, I provide compassionate support and evidence-based strategies to help you thrive.  

 My background is in communications and fitness, and I take pride in staying active, grounded, connected to people and nature, and in preparing clean, nutritious meals for my busy family.  I've been involved in the community for over 20 years, in marketing, communications and events, teaching fitness classes, and serving on the Boards of organizations that support health and fitness, diversity, education, youth, and academics in our community.  I work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including busy professionals, college students, and those with chronic conditions.  My mission is to help people build healthier habits, one small step at a time.
